Before the Shoot
Communication
Confirm all details with the photographer: time, location, concept, and what you need to bring. Ask about parking, access, and if there will be a makeup artist.
Rest & Hydration
Get at least 8 hours of sleep and drink plenty of water in the days leading up to the shoot. Avoid alcohol and excessive salt.
Grooming
Take care of any grooming needs a few days before, not the morning of. This includes eyebrows, nails, and any facial hair management.
What to Pack
- Multiple outfit options (more than you think you'll need)
- Various undergarments (seamless, strapless, different colors)
- Basic makeup kit for touch-ups
- Hair products and tools
- Comfortable shoes for between shots
- Snacks and water
- Phone charger
On Set
- Arrive on time (or early)
- Be friendly and professional with everyone
- Listen to direction but don't be afraid to try your own ideas
- Stay hydrated and take breaks when needed
- Have fun – it shows in the photos!
After the Shoot
